Senior Virtualization Specialist

About the position

dba consult is looking for a virtualization specialist for day-to-day operation, as well as a part in certain implementations at a globally scaled company in Jutland. The role is part-time with flexible planning ongoing, and is expected to last no less than 6 months.

The tasks will be varying day to day operation together with the virtual team as well as assistance with new implantations. The client have a quite big vmware installation consisting of 4 vcenters and around 200 esxi hosts. It’s primarily their Server environment – they don’t manager their VDI installation, but the underlaying host infrastructure.

Experience needed:

– Specialist knowledge and experience with vmware virtualization 5.5,6.0 and 6.5 from enterprise sized installations
– vRealize operations manager knowledge and experience is an advantage to have
– Ability to work primarily onsite with option for partly remote
