Scrum Master for MFP/OTB Implementation and Rollout AND Project Manager for e-delivery Note

About the position

For one of our retail clients, we need a combined freelance Scrum Master / Project Manager with an open-minded, structured and proactive personality who facilitates communication to run two projects simultaneously:

Project 1: Scrum Master for MFP/OTB implementation and rollout (60% allocation, May to October 2020)

To help our client’s markets manage towards a more productive inventory, Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) and Open To Buy (OTB) have been identified to establish a consistent and sales-led approach to demand planning in APTOS.

The scope of the project is to extend a ‘Proof of Concept’ solution design and project team from phase 1 into an implementation and rollout phase, with increased focus on cluster involvement and making the solution ready to be put into a production setup. The solution is built based on findings from PoC related to process, architecture, supporting reporting solutions, customisation needs signed off in steerco and data/integration readiness. Further, this phase two will focus on rollout activities and IT Operations anchoring.

Project 2: Project Manager for E-delivery note (30% allocation, May to August 2020)

It is a legal requirement that electronic delivery notes must be issued for every domestic shipment
as of 1 July 2020.

As a result, all domestic shipments by our client’s Turkish branch, such as store-to-store shipments, wholesale shipments to third parties and other domestic shipments, must be supported by an e-DN registration.

In light of our client’s upcoming mPOS implementation, the remaining timeline and a reasonable number of transactions for domestic shipments, the proposed solution suggests a manual entry of delivery information at an external vendor’s ‘portal’ that reports and stores e-delivery notes to the authority in Turkey. Thus, the scope is:

  • Adding the e-delivery functionality – and documentation to the domestic shipment process
  • Process adjustment for entering and maintaining e-delivery note information for purpose of submission of information to Turkish authorities
  • Reporting of what and how many e-delivery notes have been issued

Must-have: Strong PM knowledge and toolbox (Waterfall methodology)
