Lead Developer

We are seeking a Lead Developer to support the development of a Metadata Repository (MDR).

The role involves designing and implementing RESTful APIs (POST/GET JSON), managing data integration across document stores, graph databases, and vector stores, and enforcing schema validation for metadata ingestion and retrieval.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with API development, database design (including document and graph stores), vector-based retrieval, and data validation frameworks.

Required:

Experience with REST APIs, JSON validation, document stores (e.g., MongoDB), graph databases (e.g., Neo4j or RDF stores), vector stores (e.g., FAISS, Milvus, Pinecone), and backend development.

Programming Language:

We would need some broad programming knowledge languages with Python, SQL, SPARQL, etc. would be a start

Good to have:

Familiarity with semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL, SPARQL, or SHACL.

Duration:

Start: 1st of May or ASAP
End: 6 months with possibility of extension
Location: 50% onsite in Copenhagen and 50% remote
