Tasks

In the Project Manager Officer department, you will work transversally across the ITS department projects, supporting various project managers on tasks including:

Solution testing
Solution training
Process mapping
Requirements gathering / analysis
Scope definition
Project documentation
Issue tracking
Assistance with hypercare support

The scope will be to support on a number of projects, but specifically to include IT Project OMS & OPS Decommissioning, DaWinci P1 and P2, amongst others. Will also include project management of small to mid-size projects dependent upon capacity and demand, e.g. coordination of remainder of phase two of TMore project amongst others.

You will:

Provide project management support to the project and project manager
Be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the project planning
Follow up on tasks and actions within the project team
Produce timely communications to stakeholders
Arrange project meetings and support on project reporting
Do other coordination tasks as needed

Qualifications / Experience, for example:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration or similar
Experience as a project manager leading projects, but comfortable to also take on the role of coordinator alongside another PM
Experience with and ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressured timelines and managing many simultaneous tasks
Proactive and driven by nature, assuming responsibility and accountability for tasks
Strong stakeholder management skills is a must, with an approachable and collaborative attitude and the ability to balance diplomacy with the needs of the project
Team-focused yet autonomous and a strong communicator at all levels
Knowledge of IT projects and processes
5+ years of experience from similar roles

Starting: 1 July 2021

Six months, full time
