About the position

Our finance client is going to move from Oracle DB to Open Source and needs a freelance Oracle DBA.

Other Qualifications:

Knowledge of finance
Nice to have: offshore / nearshore experience

Responsibilities:

• Define the over-all dba migration strategy, from existing Oracle DB perspective

• General maintenance: hardware, upgrades, backups, troubleshooting, recovery

• Identify requirements from the business people

– this will determine the document view schema design and access pattern

• Ensure data consistency during migration and transformation
